Stone is the oldest building material out there.
It is considered historically as the eternal material and has been used for the construction of landmark buildings.
It is a structural material that has high durability and resistance to compression, making it ideal for walls outside. It is used for gravity retaining walls in gardens and rock gardens.
As coating it is a material with high thermal inertia. This means you need a lot of energy for heating and simultaneously shows a lot of energy on cooling. In houses the effect is generated that provides coolness in summer and in the winter it gives off heat inside, so it tends to temper the temperature inside the home.
It is also an elegant, traditional and with very little maintenance material, which makes it ideal for facades.
At Intercons we have a great experience working with natural and artificial stone in the traditional way.
